Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 8th August 2022 at 7.30pm. We’ll be watching a Ted talk, ‘The Power of Vulnerability’ by BrenĂ© Brown.
BrenĂ© Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, love. In this talk she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. It resulted in her questioning her own personal relationship with vulnerability, learning the difference between courage and bravery and the necessary need for belonging.
After the talk, there will be refreshments and an informal discussion to share our thoughts on the topic.
Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20 people, so booking is essential if you wish to come along. Please register your free place through Eventbrite at the link below. As always, the meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.
