German New Medicine & Naturopathy: Support Group at RISC 8th Dec 2025

Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 8th December 2025 at 7.30pm.

Tim Atkins will be introducing us to the topic of German New Medicine, which challenges the traditional (mostly Western) way of thinking about health and healing. It centres around the idea that a series of changes in the body and mind originate from a “conflict shock” (traumatic event). This theoretical medicine promotes the idea that symptoms are only the surface of the problem.

Tim will talk about the connection between conflict shock, symptoms & a person’s wider wellbeing. He will also share some practical tips on how to resolve the original trauma and maintain a healthy mind and body using natural tools and methods alongside positive psychology.

Free refreshments will be available and after the session there will be time for questions and a chat.

Please register your free place through Eventbrite at the link below. As always, the meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.

If you book a ticket and are unable to attend, please let us know so that we can offer your place to someone else. You can cancel your ticket through Eventbrite, or send us a message via our contact form.
