Empower Yourself: Wokingham Support Group 1st May 2024

Our next monthly support meeting in Wokingham is on is on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at 7.00pm.

Carole Carter will be talking about how coaching psychology can empower people to improve their mental health and build authentic, happy lives.

After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.

Carole (they/them) is a coaching psychologist who works primarily with LGBTQ+, polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous and kinky people of all ages who are struggling with their mental health. A lot of their clients are also either autistic and/or have ADHD. Carole focuses on working with these people because mainstream services often fail to take them into account and they are still pathologised by some of the people who are there to help them.

Through working with Carole, people are able to better understand themselves and their experiences, identify and build up a range of coping strategies, improve their self esteem and develop their ability to identify and manage emotions. Coaching has a focus on setting goals, making plans, learning and taking action so it’s perfect for those who are ready to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in!
