Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 13th May 2024 at 7.30pm.
This participative session with Marc Kirby considers what we can do to prevent and manage stress and be resilient – it’s based on neuroscience, but taking a practical perspective of how we can apply it to help ‘manage our minds’.
We’ll be covering how the mind functions in this context: the background to stress and its roots, managing emotions and feelings, and practicing evidence-based tips and techniques for preventing and managing stress and being resilient.
After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.
Marc Kirby is a coach and trainer based in the Reading area, specialising in coaching individuals and training groups of staff in understanding and managing our emotions, preventing and managing stress, and being resilient.
