Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 9th June 2025 at 7.30pm.
Callum Flynn from Compass Recovery College will be talking to us about what Compass Recovery College is, the services they offer & how you can access them..
After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.
Compass Recovery College is a mental health and wellbeing organisation based in Reading commissioned by Reading Borough Council. They provide a variety of free workshops and social groups, delivered by staff and peer support volunteers with lived experience of mental health challenges, for anyone in the area aged 18 or over who may be affected directly or indirectly by mental health or wellbeing challenges. They start from a place of hope, with the belief that learning about our mental health and wellbeing with the right tools can give us more control for the future. They believe that self-management and making the most of our strengths can help us recover from challenges and become experts in our own wellbeing.
