Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 13th April 2026 at 7.30pm.
Carole Carter from Carole Diane Coaching will be providing an introduction to working with boundaries & how setting healthy boundaries can be a powerful tool in managing your mental health, both in times of conflict & in life in general. They’ll be taking us through how to set, communicate & maintain boundaries effectively, how to deal with resistance/pressure from others in relation to your boundaries & how to approach the boundaries of others respectfully.
After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.
Carole (they/them) is a coaching psychologist who works primarily with LGBTQ+, polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous and kinky people of all ages who are struggling with their mental health. A lot of their clients are also either autistic and/or have ADHD. Carole focuses on working with these people because mainstream services often fail to take them into account and they are still pathologised by some of the people who are there to help them.
Through working with Carole, people are able to better understand themselves and their experiences, identify and build up a range of coping strategies, improve their self esteem and develop their ability to identify and manage emotions. Coaching has a focus on setting goals, making plans, learning and taking action so it’s perfect for those who are ready to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in!
