One of the most useful resources signposted to us by Mona Qassim in her March talk, the Berkshire Healthcare Choice and Medication website offers detailed information on a wide variety of medicines and conditions.
Medicines: At least 30 questions and answers on over 160 medicines used in mental health.
Conditions: At least 14 questions and answers on 22 mental health conditions.
Handy Charts: Tables comparing the main medicines for each condition in an easily-viewed format.
Handy fact Sheets: On topics where useful summaries are often harder to find e.g. starting and stopping medicines, LAIs vs oral antipsychotics, driving, side effects (sexual, prolactin, hyponatraemia, weight gain, NMS, serotonin syndrome), sleep etc.
